2005-2013

Roadside Picnic is a radio podcast about the act of listening. 
From 2005 to 2013, I produced 17 episodes. I curated music, field recordings, and audio samples based on abstract themes that were relevant to my life at the time. I imagined the show to be like a pirate radio broadcast, transmitting without knowing who received it or where they might be. 

It turned out that people did, in fact, listen - more than I could have imagined, and I have received many requests over the years to curate another episode.

I produced this recent episode, number 18, in the fall of 2020. No time felt more appropriate than now.

The best of the original episodes will be remixed, re-edited, and uploaded here for archival purposes.

New episodes will be posted here if and when, they happen.
